Welcome to Design by Bono! We are a design consulting firm focused on interior design of residential and commercial properties as well as designing unique Airbnb's. Our top priority is to understand our client's unique goals and working towards achieving them. Our mission is to curate beautiful properties that evoke a feeling and create an everlasting impression.

Our Story

Designed by Bono was created with a mission to help maximize a property's potential. Liz Bono, the creative mind behind the brand, began her professional career in the corporate world, as a financial consultant. It was during these formative years that she discovered her true passion for curating beautiful spaces.

Liz and her husband moved to Charlotte, NC primarily to invest in real estate. It wasn't until then that Liz understood the power of interior design. The properties sold for a premium when they were designed with the end buyer in mind. They were not "cookie cutters" and therefore, attracted a specific type of buyers that were willing to pay a premium for the properties she designed.

Nowadays, whether collaborating on local ventures or projects beyond New York, Liz infuses each design with a distinctive vision that elevates the property value and commands attention. Renowned for her talent in crafting cozy interiors and her mastery of functional layouts, she takes great pride in delivering spaces that are both functional and beautifully impactful.
